To this city I have probably the best memories. I have driven a motorbike for the first time in my life and we became good friends the Swiss girls and I.
On the way to Da Lat you will experience iconic mountain views like never before. Green is everywhere and 2 metres from you is the edge of the mountain. And when you see and realize that your body is bit by bit filled with adrenaline.

After our arrival at 5pm we just wondered around our hostel and grabbed some food.
The very next day we started our exploration in Crazy house. A must see place because you could never imagine that a place like that is built. The architect must have been really crazy. The shape of rooms, the omnipresence of the stairs etc. This house is really a masterpiece of imagination.

And yes. It started to rain. But we didn't care. We kept on going and exploring the city. Next station was the city lake. On that day there was some promotion from a telephone company so there has been a lot of kids messing around and having fun. A dance-crew on the stage but the best dancers have been these 2 ladies. Wish you could see them. It was so funny.

Buying corn in a park from a local vendor.

We heard only good things about Da Lat market and we had to see it. It was beautiful market situated at city square with a lot of vendors. The amount of people there was incredible. It took us always few minutes to get where we wanted to go even when it was only 100m away.

Da Lat pizza. One of my favourite Vietnam foods. Its really simple. Fry scrambled egg and add vegetables. When its ready just roll it like a wrap and eat. Simple and tasty.

The owner of our hostel told us to go to Maze bar. Its a bar built the same way as the Crazy house. There is 5 staircases connecting all kind of floors on each floor so its really easy to get lost and if you are drunk.. good luck my friend.

We made it to the top floor. And not to mention. We met Neo and his French friend again. It was a nice surprise to bump into them at the night market.

And here it began. We planned a trip to a Elephant waterfalls. The only problem was the 30kms between us and that waterfalls. Let's take motorbikes girls said. Ehmm.. I have never driven one nor have I a licence for it. "It's easy you will catch it up quickly" they said. So we did it. I was a bit scared but only of falling down and getting injured. First 5 minutes I felt like a baby squirrel on a flying carpet. The motorbike was doing whatever it wanted to do. Left or right shake or not... but it was damn good feeling. When I understood the law of composure it was much easier to drive it. Luckily the city was almost empty at that time so the chance of me having an accident was low.

And then headed to the mountains. "Oh my god I love this". At this moment I fell in love with motorbikes. This stunning views along the road were just priceless.

Half-way through we stopped at Me Linh cafe shop. Beautiful place with weasel farm and amazing coffee.

On the top of the waterfall.

When you get down you will be wet in seconds so that's why we are having raincoats in 30°C.

Big blue buddha.

Then we continued to a Prenn waterfall. This one was unique by having the posibility walking under it which was great to experience.

Oh yes. Da Lat was so beautiful but after 3 days it was time to say goodbye and continue on our journey. The next morning we did. We hopped on a bus to Nha Trang. A city mostly occupied by Russian people.

Nexttime Russian city Nha Trang, the magical Hoi An and Da Nang.
