I was in Bangkok. And luckily I was not alone. I have got to know some Thai girls via www.couchsurfing.com and they were so kind to wait for me at the airport. They literally saved my life. Say hello to Selene and Ashley.

After we said few words they have led the way towards taxis. Its cheaper to take taxi from departure zone than arrival zone. Because the driver brought somebody to the airport and now he can go back with another passengers. So win-win situation.

We took this driver with note collection.

We drove straight to the hotel. I needed to change my clothes and a shower. It was so warm and fuggy.

Just a small simple room. Exactly what I need.

After that the girls took me into the city to do some shopping and to see some sightseeings. And I met Selene's sister Cathy.

We have made it into a Chatuchak weekend market. I have never seen such a place. So many sellers and so many people. A lot of tourists as well.

The shops were next to each other or behind of each other just everywhere you looked there was a small retailer trying to sell. From food to apparel and wooden furniture etc.

After a day full of traveling we camped ourselves in a nearby park.

It was an amazing day thanks to these girls. They have made it for me so easy. I can't thank them enough. After that we have split and everybody went home. It's really easy to use the underground. Everything is marked clearly and in english as well.

Traffic in Bangkok is always on the highest level. At 7pm there was no sun. But the numbers of motorbikes and scooters along with cars were countless.

On the way to the hotel I got lost about 3 times but eventually I found my way thanks to google maps. I fell asleep almost immedietaly after I arrived.
