I woke up early in the morning so I could pack my things and to set off to Pak Chong bus station. When I was saying goodbye to the reception staff they told me they are able to give me a lift to Khao Yai NP and from there it's going to be easy to catch a bus or a car. That helped me a lot and saved a lot of energy. We stopped at the road and we were trying to stop any car or a bus.

Unluckily nobody was keen to stop a car so after half an hour we managed to stop a bus which got me to city centre. From there I took a different bus to Nakhon Ratchasima which had connection to Thai/Cambodian border Aranyaprathet/Poipet. I got there and hour before the bis departure so I got.myself a coffee because I knew I have a long way ahead.

Finally the bus came and I was ready to go. I took some pictures along the way so you see how it looks there.

Yes. A herd of cows made their way on the road with a shepherdess guiding them.

After a six hours on the bus I was in Aranyaprathet. A bordering city with Cambodia.

On the way to the border I have met a guy from Holland. He knew the area well because he was living in Vietnam for 5 years now. He was doing a border run which is illegal but he didn't seem to care. Anyway we spoke a lot and he gave a lot of tips for my trip. After we found and immigration for getting a visa we crossed the border together and went to buy a tickets. I was heading to Siem Reap and he to Phnom Penh the capital.

Yes. I have made it to Cambodia in a daylight. I was so happy. Than another crap happened. I was waiting for the bus in Poipet. Literally the craziest city on Earth. People were everywhere. Rushing though the border and jumping on tourist trying to sell them.everything. I can not count how many times I have said 'no' to people.

3 hours passed by and the bus was her. It was 9pm and dark. I was sure I will arrive at Siem Reap at midnight which was not good for a tourist. When I got on the bus I could not believe my own eyes. It was a sleep bus with beds.

I thought the bed were for 1 person. So it was really comfy. But it was for 2 people to fit on it. And that was not comfy at all. To be in bed with some asian people I don't know. Then some european guy was getting on the bus and we started to talk. He was from Essex and studying in Lancaster. And he was only 19. Respect dude! As I supposed we have reached the city at midnight. The driver dropped us off on the main street and my GPS was saying my hotel is 5 minutes away from me which was great. I battled my way through Siem Reap at night to get in.
Mission Successful! After 17 hours I was in my destination.
